Current projects: Dr Vukosi Marivate is a Data Scientist and a senior researcher at the CSIR. He is currently leading the Data Mining team at CSIR Modelling and Digital Science (MDS). Vukosi is also carrying out a number of research projects in Machine Learning, specifically Anomaly detection; Fraud detection in Bitcoin; Social Media Mining and Predictive Policing. Other projects are aimed at providing solutions through Data Science applications for the public sector.
